Apparently, a computer problem...

I need service on a Capresso 3000 coffee machine and live in Boquete, Panama. It is too expensive to ship the machine to the US for service. Is there anyone anywhere in Panama who can work on Capresso machines? I've had two people try unsuccessfully to repair it.

I have a mabe gas stove and oven, the outside glass of the oven broke, can the oven be used with just the inside glass? And can I but a replacement outside glass? I live in Santo Domingo, DR.

I have the same problem. I have a maybe gas oven and stove too and the outer glass shattered when we were moving. But we live in Boquete Panama and all these answers only really apply to the US. Any answers.

Is there an easier was to decalcify the capresso 3000 than taking apart the whole machine. The directions say you have to remove the auto cappuccino assembly

    Yes
You should run the decalcify program with the JURA decal tablets or DURGOL. Do not use other agents.
See page 25 of user manual.

Broken "on/off" switch. Told to pay to have the machine shipped?

I guess it depends where you live. My DCC 2000 stopped working ("on" switch doesn't turn on unit), so I called Cuisinart customer service. She initially told me to ship it to them (at my expense) for a free replacement. I told her I live in CA, then she told me she would send me a UPS prepaid shipping label to return the unit. I'm going to just return the unit to the retailer and get a replacement that way since Cuisinart told me they are backordered on this model due to all the problems with it.

Apparently, CA has better consumer protection laws than the rest of the country. Woo Hoo.

Where can I find an Jura Capresso Impressa F9 replacement lid

The only sources I have been able to find are in Europe. They do not always wish to ship to the US however. In the US the dealers always want the repair, but seldome wish to sell parts outright. Try this website for parts.

My dispay on my jura E8 says error 5.

Simple fix - got the machine serviced, needed a new thermoblock apparently, could also have been one of the couple of sensors they replaced. Total cost including box, bits and carriage - £180 plus change.
Expensive but now I have it back, it all seems worth it!

Unable to make coffee automatically using whole beans

One thought is to call Capresso for the recall to fix electrical cord. They will pay shipping both ways and fix any problems for free as part of the recall. Worked for me, might be too late now but worth trying.

    Jura Capresso c1500..........'Service 8'

Used to get the Service 8 with increasing frequency until it almost froze up. Luckily I figured out an easy solution and my 5 year old refurbished C1500 with over 4000 coffees runs like brand new. Here's how:
Take out the grounds tray and reach in to pull back the flap up above where the grounds fall. There is a piston and cylinder thingy behind the flap kind of like a car piston. Take a wad of wet paper towel and shove it up there to clean it out. Then use a dry towel to dry it. Now the secret solution: Take a can of spray pam and point it at the piston and cylinder with the flap pulled back. Give it a couple good shots. Now you just need to get the machine to work that in between the piston and cylinder walls by running the rinse cycle until it frees up. You may have to run it a few times then unplug and let it cool for a couple hours and run it again. The motor overheats if the piston is really stuck so you need to let it cool down. Apparently this is lubricated at the factory with a FDA approved food grease from Dow Corning that needs to be replenished but hey no one is going to die from a little vegetable oil. Some day if it even hints at happening again (It has been 3 months now) I know what to do. Cheers!
