Janome MC 4000 obbin rotates past the spring

I'm the only owner of my machine and has always taken care of it. Suddenly when I sew, I hear a loud knocking noise. And, this only happens once my bobbin case shifts. I still have good straight stiches, but is unsure if my decorative stitches should be distorted on the bobbin side. Once I check my re-threading, needles, lint and tension, I look into the bobbing case and notices that my bobbin case has spun past the spring, but not enough for my needle to hit the case. I've recently had my bobbin case replaced during pro maint. Now, I'm not sure if this should be happening and this spring is what actually keeps my case locked in place during sewing. But, this seems to make the noise more apparent. Again, I've already had it serviced and oiled and everything checked out, so what next? Thanks!

This spring does indeed keep the bobbin case in place. It is either out of adjustment or it has been bent. I'm sure your dealer will warranty the work you just had done so take it back to him to adjust properly before the bobbin case is ruined.

MC 11000 janome stops reading presser foot "p"

This is a relatively easy adjustment as I just did one last week but I'm not sure I can explain it. Anyway, open up the lamp cover and look at the top of the presser bar. There is a sensor that is easily adjusted. It has a small phillips screw that you need to loosen. Then move the black 'L' shaped piece either up or down a little (I can't remember which way) and re-tighten the screw, you may need to experiment. The 'L' shaped piece is a flag that goes between two sensors when the foot is raised and can be rotated left and right about 10 degrees. I hope that helps.

Manual?

I've always been able to get a free PDF downloadable manual from the Janome web site. They've always been very helpful. Here's a link to them:

Hope this helps!

Problems with the memory card

HI Have you contacted either the dealer you bought the machine from or Janome directly? There is a Janome group on the internet at Yahoogroups...maybe someone there would have the answer? I've been told that the owner of Janome monitors the group--that is WOW for an international company to pay attention to the customers! Good luck, pat
