On my Toyota electric 5FBE15 forklift the L/forward and L/ Reverse contactors aren't pulling in. Actually the L/forward pulls in only to immediately pull out. get a C 1 error code.any body got anything on this?

I got the same problem and same model, what's going on with Clark forklift, I look for the new transmission all over internet but can't find any. if any body know what wrong please tell us what to do. thanks a lot. TMV

SOURCE: tm 20 clark forklift error code -46 what does it

sounds like the #1 rectifier is shorted or the insulator gasket is shorted through -also the 1A contactor may be welded shut -usually caused by a weak battery or running a discharged battery too long. -Troy from A-Lift Services

Good morning.... sorry I have a Toyota forklift 5fbe15, which has problems with the left engine, since that does not work correctly...
If both are connected do not respond correctly...
I did not mark code can help me I have no manual... or diagrams

Ive got a Doosan G35S-5 forklift with the code 994 showing up, what is this code?

I recently tried the DIY service and repair manuals from a website and it actually helped me repair transmission problem in my jcb 3cx site-master.
It would'nt move forward or reverse, engine was good both solenoids for forward and reverse worked, but still couldn't diagnose the problem.
I don't have much technical knowledge but I just followed it step-wise, and now it works perfect! covers wiring, codes, diagrams, torque specs, PCV, everything

302 voltage feedback circuit check line contactor is connected and getting proper voltage 36v at pull-in 24v c
continuous code 317 brake pedal error good luck colin

Not sure for 98s. But you need to erase the codes to start. If the problem is still there, Check the wiring to the transmission. You need electrical diagrams.

P0773 code how do I fix this and what is it

code p0773 refers to shift solenoid(SS) E --electrical===causes--wiring--shift solenoid---ECM---TCM
check wiring to the transmission for faulty connections.

Do both solenoids pull in fully or are they stopping short of full travel? Operate them manually with the power turned off and see how far they travel. Then turn the power on and operate them electrically and see if they travel the full amount. If they don't there may be an obstruction stopping them. It could also be that the contacts are worn or burnt out and aren't making contact. Can you remove the contactors and visually inspect them?

Check for blown fuses and check the reverse solenoid. You can swap the forward solenoid with the reverse one. If it works, then replace the solenoid.

What type of oil goes in the trans of a 1979 c500-40 clark lift truck . It stopped pulling in forward when warmed up, yet still pulls in reverse. Need to add oil, not sure of the type.

SAE 90, or Transmission Oil should do the trick
