Keeps saying: DRAWER OPEN Tray 1

Most likely a belt has stretched and will not now move the tray. This happens of units more than 2 years old usually.

It sounds like your lens is dirty.take it to a gamestop or electronic repair shop should be like a $15.00 fix tops.

First you have to put a little wheel (in front of the tray) in the correct size and format of the paper.
Than You have to see in the menu what is selected.

there are different reasons for stuck up disk tray

1. load belt is worn out already
2. driving gear for mechanical loading disc tray has broken teeth.
3. cd got stuck up between the loading disc tray and the plate holder.

You will need unplug your device first and then unscrew the cover of your unit and find it yourself to know what causes it not to open.

once the cover is out, the mechanical loading disc tray will be exposed.
1. remove the stuck cd
2. plug the unit and turn on, to get access the belt, wait for the disc tray to move to the pull out position, then unplug your device.
3. plug the unit and turn on, if the disc tray do not move, use your finger to move the tray and see which gear is broken.

belts are available from this site. just have to measure the correct diameter of the belt in your unit

This is one of two problems, both involving your laser.

1: the laser is dirty, get a laser lens cleaner and run it through your xbox a few times and see if that helps. You can also get a can of compressed air and carefully spray it into the open tray slot.

2: Your laser has died, at which point your only option is to call Microsoft and ask them for a repair order. Sorry :(

Check the area behind the draw there might be some ground coffee preventing the tray from sitting correctly.

something may be blocking the drive door such and paper or dust build up. try pushing on drawer a little after it shuts to see if that helps

remove drawer and drain tray, there may be some coffee grounds on the back of the machine where the drain tray sits, preventing the dregs drawer from sitting properly.

Remove the top of the washer by removing the 2 retaining screws (phillips head) from the back of the unit & sliding the washer top back about 2" & pulling up. You will see a white detergent dispenser box with several hoses coming off the back in the left front of the unit (this box contains the detergent drawer). The lid to this box is held on by 8 pressure snap clips. You only need to release the 4 snap clips (3 large, 1 small at the rear) on the right side of the box (nearest the washer drum). Pull up on the right side of the lid while pulling out on the detergent drawer. It should come out normally. Do not reassemble until you read below, then reverse the steps to put the washer back together.

The problem will be the "softener" lid (blue). It will not be sitting down in the drawer assembly & will catch on the lid of the white detergent dispenser box. Simply remove the blue lid to avoid future jambs. It only serves to identify the fabric softener recepticle & it keeps fabric softener from splashing around when water enters the system. You may need to remove the entire detergent drawer periodically to clean (push down on the blue thumb indent inside the drawer to release it from the housing).

Hope this keeps you from drilling through the lid & ruining a $23 part, like I did.

First, make sure the DVD Recorder is completely disconnected from the Main Supply.

Then, if you look on the base of the unit, (just underneath the front of the Disc Insert/Eject Tray), there is a small slot, (approx 25 x 8mm), in which you can see a small, white, plastic lever probably situated near the right-hand side of the slot.

Then move this lever gently to the left, and then turn it on and the tray opens by pushing the button.
