SOURCE: Where are screws located that access main motor

If the model is the same as pictured, the screws should be visible.
If the model is older like I think it is, the screws are going to be a tad tough to get to, but not impossible.

First you will need to take the bag door off. Open it like you would to change the bag and then push the bag door back farther so that the hinges "pop" out. Generally how i do it is put it on the counter, with the bag facing you, open as far as you can, grab the top portion of the bag door and push it back quickly.

Now, when the bag door is off, with a flat screw driver, the colored housing above the gray bumper will come off. insert the flat screwdriver in there and pry it open a touch. do that to the other side as well. Once both sides are open, you want to slide the screwdriver towards the back of the unit and gently pry the back off.

under there you will find 2 screws (if you need to go that far at this point) and you can remove the back of the unit easily.

Good luck,
Mark

How do I improve suction of the Panasonic mc cl310 vacuum

Hi, it's Jeremy from Crucial Vacuum.

There are a few potential solutions you should try. You can check the hose and canister to make sure nothing is lodged in them. If nothing is there and it does not fix the problem, your issue could be related to your brush-roll. Check your brush-roll to make sure that nothing is interfering with it. If that does not solve the issue, the next area that should be checked is your vacuums filters. Filters should be replaced every 3 to 6 months for optimal performance.

Brush won't turn on my Panasonic MC-CB467

There should be a safety reset button. So like if you suck up a rug it will shut the power to the brush roll off, then reset it.

The powerhead on my Hoover Duros will not keep running. If I push the on/off switch it will come back on sometimes, other times when I push it it turns the whole thing off as its supposed to do.

I just had the same problem with my hoover duros, the vacuum was running fine but the powerhead kept going off. I would make a sweep with it and powerhead would be running and then next sweep powerhead would shut off. I had tried checking connection and belt, etc. I thought it was the powerhead. But then I found the problem. On the duros there are 2 pieces of wands that hook powerhead to hose on canister. They both connected and clicked in fine but I decided to check them separately. I hooked just one piece to hose and powerhead and then turned it on and then I did the other piece. ta-dah! that's what it was...it was only one section of the wand. When I hooked them up separately, one piece the powerhead worked totally fine and vacuumed like normal. When I removed that piece of wand and tried the second piece (actually the bottom section when both are hooked together) the powerhead did not work at all. So I just need to get a new section of wand. Hope this helps!

I have a panasonic mc-ul975 vacuum that works great when working properly. the airflow through the canister seems to stops once the aero blast technology is done running which causes the vacuum to not...

Hi there. In Panasonic vacuums2.gif, there is a thermostat protection on the motor. It will automatically shut off the motor if there is no airflow through the motor. This is typically caused by a clogged hose. Typically, if your dust container is that full, there could be backup in the hose. Or the dust container being too full could also or otherwise be the problem. Check your hose for blockage, let the machine cool off, it should start up again

No power when its turned on

There was a (common cause) power arc during the swap (while running the vacuum).
The fuse located under the grey clipped-on plate of the canister is blown. The fuse is soldered-on the board and would need to be changed (board or fuse). Not "user friendly" zone. Warranty? Smart if they designed a breaker button instead of a fuse here...

Powerhead does not work and the light doesn't work. Canister does work

Some of these has a reset button to push on the powerhead. Check the plug at the end of the hose handle, is it pushed in, if you push on it and it goes further in, then the tube in the handle will have to be replaced, the holding tab broke off of the tube. Pull the wand off and look at the prongs to see if they are burnt. it they are, then that power cord will have to replace as well as the want.
