Typically the machine only uses 5-6 quarts of water, If you're floor is getting 1 or 2 quarts check for a loosly connected intake or drain hose. I've never seen any overflow drain on a Miele. It only fills the bottom of the tub. The machine uses a logic program that continuously checks the level of fill and drain by water pressure weight so it always runs with proper amount, even if your intake pressure is weak. Now, If you add too much soap then the bubbles can carry a few ounces over a worn door seal. If the seal is damaged then more spray arm water can run down the front of the machine into the float pan. But after it gets less than a pint of water the drain float will start thr drain pump and shut-off the machine controls and alert you. It won't let you run the machine until the water ( and the problem) is gone. Call Miele for help.

My Miele dishwasher code is F11 but filling up with water then drains.

Well it is a drain blockage code. Check the pipe. I had a blockage caused by the stalk off an apple and an accumulation of lint!

Sounds like the fill solenoid is letting by. You'd need to replace it and that should sort it out

Miele Dishwasher G841 - Water not draining after wash cycle

If you suspect the dish washer, try discharging the drain in a bucket. After the drain cycle check the wash tub. If water is still left, you have to clean the drain filter attached to the bottom. Refer user guide.

The final drain end of the dish washer where you discharge, the fixing junction has to be cleaned, incase it is clogged.

Hi dear.If you are handy enough, that's what you can check to make a solution for yourself.Goodluck.
Check all hoses, connections and threaded unions for leaks.
Note:
If the leak source has not yet been detected, check the following areas
in the toekick and the drip pan for wear and tear:
Connection between the circulation pump and the sump
Axial face seal of the circulation pump
Connection between the drain pump and the sump
Connection between the salt container and the water intake
Connection between the water intake and the cabinet side wall
 Overflow (e.g., excess foam formation)
Water level between the overflows ( seating of the lower door seal?)
Connection between the cabinet and the salt container
Non-return valve in the sump ( water running back from the drain hose?)
3. Check overflow float switch B8/3 for continuity and correct operation.
4. Carefully dry all electrical components in the drip pan area.
Cause:
Float switch defective.
Remedy:
Replace overflow float switch B8/3.
I hope that helps.Thanks.

Run a nice long hot "Pots and Pans" cycle every now and then.
Try calling the Miele Appliance Hotline 1-800-999-1360 when your in front of the machine.

Miele g 665

it is the "FAN" inside the door, i had that problem too.
if it leaks after you open it when it stops and the door is on the ground.
You can open up the front and clean the black small tube witch comes from the fan on the left upper side (if you're in front of the machine) and down to the magnet opened valve.
On my Machine i replaced the tube with a new one as you don't get everything out.

Intake/Drain Error

There is water collected in the inner tray of your unit. Pull out the Miele and take off the drain hose and unplug the unit. Then tilt the dishwasher back 60* and let it drain out all the water. There will be a couple of cups on the floor, but nothing too big that a couple of towles can't handle. Then reconnect everything and start up the unit. It WILL work! It just happened to me and my Miele incognito is now working like a champ again!!
