Your problem is in vertical section. 1 any capacitor in vertical section is defective. 2 transistors in output ckt might be defective 3 loose contact in vertical section. 4 problem in feed back circuit(if you are a technical person )

Are you saying that the same picture is split into two, or that there are 2 images split on the screen? Might be the PIP board or setting on the remote that is bad.

My LG TV 49UF6430UB has a display split in half vertically. I replaced the T-Con board. Now the picture comes on fully, BUT the screen is split vertically, with one half showing a different color.

Easier just buy new ..cheapr then repair. Try unpluggn set for aday..temp fix fora old tv

My dvd/vcr is show double almost like a split screen. There is a bar in the middle of the screen and the screen itself is slpit into two parts. When i put up the menu screen for it i can see half of one...

on your remote you need to hi the pip button. thats picture in picture. it allows the screen to be split so you can watch two things at once, though most equpiment doesnt support this function yet so its useless.

My screen displey a split image/double image. I see my whole desktop, but on the right side I see another partial desktop, too! If I pull up an internetscreen I see one full screen and then another half...

you have two displays enabled in your computer. go into display properties and disable display 2. then you will have the correct screen showing in full

Only half of my screen shows a picture, the other half is black. It is not a split screen, half of the picture is missing

You have a problem with the vertical IC. Or someone typed into the software and hit a service blank option..Cances are better that you have to resolder the vertical IC. This is a projection TV...correct?

Dvd player split screen

I had the same problem. It turned out to be my cable that went from the dvd player to the TV. I replaced with new cable & everything worked fine again. Hope this helps & please remember to rate my answer. Thanks.

That means that your lcd is starting to go out. Call the repairs dept and see if they will fix it for ya. 800-706-2534 and option 2.
