Dropped my Exilim V7

You have to Call them at 800-706-2534 option 2 and they will tell you where to send your camera to get it fixed. There is nothing that you can do at home to fix that. Sorry.

My casio exilim Ex-V7 digital camera stabilizer won't work.

The software won't fix your problem. It's the dropping that's causing the camera malfunction.

Camera stabilizer not available comes

Update it to the newest Firmware. Search it on Casio website. The new firmware turns the stabilizer off. It's a well known problem with the V7. Have updated a lot of these - works every time.

When the camera is on it shows a mesage a mesage on screen that the camera stablizer is not available.

The manual is very simple in this case, it says: The Camera Shake unit may be malfunctioning. If the same message appears after you turn power back on, contact your retailer or a Casio service centre. So if you need the stabilisation (low shutter speeds, you have to go to the repair shop, to let it fix. Try switching off the camera, remove the battery for a few minutes and then place the battery back. Still the same error? you know what to do. Sorry.

Hi, I am using casio

Try NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program.

You don't. That is something that Casio will have to fix. Call 18007062534 and choose option 2. Tell them you have a stabilizer error and they will tell you how to go about sending it in.

When i slide to take a pic it says that camara

I have a Casio Exilim EX-V7 and I had the same Camera Stabilizer is not available problem, the firmware on my camera was 1.01 (hold down the menu key while sliding the cover open, keep holding until your firmware version displayed) From Casio.com, I downloaded the new firmware 1.03 (you need to register your serial number to do this (put in your serial number ONLY NUMBERS no letters from the bottom of the camera). Run the file you download to extract the bin file needed for the firmware. Connect the camera to your computer. When the folder opens put bin file into that location. MAKE SURE THE CAMERA BATTERY IS CHARGED. Hold down the shutter button (on top) at the same time press and hold the menu button then whil holding those two open the lens cover to power on the camera. It will prompt you on the screen to do the rest. It upgrades very quickly.
Mine still shows the Stabilizer error at startup however, it doesn't turn off and i can take pictures. Have fun and good luck.
