Hi,
I seem to have damaged the anti-glare film on my Sharp LCD TV. I used a recommended LCD cleaning solution / cloth and wiped with soft hands. There is now a section that is whiter with uneven shades compared the rest of the panel. It is only glaring when TV is in standby mode, during day-time watching and if the scene is dark. It has not impacted picture quality other than the 2-tone effect
Any solution or do I need to get the panel changed
Many thanks
Regards,
Rohit

yes my 26" sharp aquous LCD does the same thing, turns itself off and on at random times without explanation. I sent to authorized service center they replaced the power supply under warranty then it failed within 6 months and neither the repair center nor sharp will do anything about it other than sell me a new powersupply for $425.00. I have contacted a power supply repair center in Texas who has vowed to fix it once and for all. We'll see in the next week if they fix it or not.

No, just go into your setup, and adjust the darkness. Should work for you.
