My ge profile peb2060sm1ss microwave seems to run but doesn't heat the food.

SOURCE: GE PRofile Microwave runs but no heat

This is a sure sign that the magnatron needs replaced ( This is what heats the food!) replace and all will be good again!

Have a PEB2060SM1SS built in microwave. No longer heats items. Starts like it should. Light comes on. Turntable turns, but doesn't heat. Sounds louder now, than when worked.

Microwave oven stays on continuously and won't heat food.
Spacemakers have had problems with there magnatron, part is around 170.00. Depending on the year it is covered under a warranty however the labor is not. I have replaced 3 spacesavers for people already due to this issue. Unit runs but will not heat.
