Need to remove case from HP Pavilion dv-7 notebook. Case is cracked. I have a new one, but can't figure out how to get the old one off.

Too complicated for me. I think I'll just take it to a repair person. Thanks, anyway!

You need to remove the battery, the hard disk and the covers. Then remove screws at the bottom to release the keyboard and the upper casing.

Hp pavilion dv 9728cl coprocessor driver

This is part of the nvidia chipset driver. Suggest you use this driver website
https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-dv9700-entertainment-notebook-pc-series/3632106/model/3647029

If you have windows 7 32bit, suggest you use the vista 32bit drivers, since 7 can do vista drivers.

If you have windows 7 64bit, suggest you use the vista 64bit drivers, again 7 can do vista drivers.

I have a hp pavilion dv 1659 us (dv 1000) the sata drive goes bad

It will recognize the new drive if you were able to "migrate" your data from the old drive. If not, you can clean install by booting from an optical drive (changing your boot order at start-up) and using a new OS disk or your recovery disks. You might be able to perform a remote partition & format and install from one drive to the other with USB external enclosures for each drive and another computer (depending on the 100G drive's condition). I hope this helps.

Will new micro atx boards fit inside of a hp 4550z case?

Yes i think you will be ok as i can see and your old motherboard is microatx but i strongly recommend you to change case because is not only about motherboard. You will need and better and new power supply and if you want to build a good system with air flow for not overheating your new cpu and other hardware i strongly recommend you to change and chassis!!You can find a "nice" case with $50-$70 bucks if you dont want to spend money on case, but you will need power supply for sure

My hp dv 600 just restarting non stop

This is a very common problem with HP. What has happened is the heat sink is not adequate enough to handle the processor and has overheated the processor, CPU and motherboard. If your PC is less than a year old and you have never damaged it in any way they will fix it for you. I wish I could have had better news for you but unfortunately in this case I do not.
