Hi, when a phone has a ringer volume problem, is either the ringer of the phone is weak and you can't hear when someone calls you or the volume of the ringer is yet at a very low level in sound.

You will need to check the volume settings of the phone if the volume is low so you can increase it to a high level.

If the setting of the volume is high, that means the ringer that a makes you hear when people call is weak and will need to be replaced.

To cutoff ringer volume in Vtech cordless phones,you have to turn off the base ringer.
Handset:
program button->up/down" key to cycle until you see the Ringer selection->up/down" key(s) to cycle until the OFF selection
Base Ringer:
Menu->press menu until you hear "Base Ringer, to change base ringer press change"->PLAY/STOP button to save

the cable is sufficient to hold the weight of the tire. Someone probably cut yours and took your tire.Aside from putting the spare tire in the hatchback there really isnt another option. They make locks for the hole in the bumper, however that wont stop someone with bolt cutters from cutting the cable.

The older model fords had a metal plate that would drop down and you set the tire on it and then pushed it back up and you could put a padlock on it. IT may be too expensive to modify than to just replace your tire.

If someone is calling, do you see it on the phone? If so, you may have muted the sound. Try looking for a a button with a music note on the phone. Hold that button for a bit(atleast that's how it works on my phone)

take out the battery, then put it back in as you press and hold the star-key (*) should go to reset, and you press the bottom left key to activate again. -mats

look in the left corner of the phone, the (down vol. button) push and hold it down and it should let you choose from low to high ringtones

To turn your ringer back on, you do the following. For your handset, you push Menu, scroll to ringer settings, then push select, Press select again for ringer volume, then scroll up to turn on and increase the ringer volume. Then press Save once its at the desired volume. To change your base ringer, while it is not in use, push the ringer up button until you hear the desired setting. That should fix your problems.

No specific knowledge of your model but I have seen many people place tape over the housing holes for the ringer to cut down the volume level on phones where the ringer is too loud.
