How do I remove "return" button which stopped working

The button itself is not the contact.

Unscrew the two halves of the keyboard by locating the screws under the rubber feet on the bottom.

Turn it upside down.
It should come apart the top key section, then a rubberised mat then the PCB then the bottom case.

When you press the key a rubber dome with a conductive pad presses against the contacts on the PCB.

Clean the contacts with switch cleaner and reassemble.

Service department

They don't print, could be typewheel, being they are in a row, most
likly in the keyboard. Keyboard can be taken apart and cleaned. pretty big job. But contacts can be cleaned, some times light spray of electronics cleaner that will not harm plastics can be used. Test on plastic before you spray on key board. remove keytop prys off and slight spray down shaft that holds the keytop. Move keyswitch up and down to get into the contacts and see if it works. Good luck...

Keyboard problem

I can assure you that your generosity is truly appreciated by all who know of it. Forgive this boy, buy the new keyboard and get on with your wonderful life. These things happen and sometimes it is no ones fault. My wife decided to "help" one time and used a floor vacuum cleaner to clean my laptop key board. She quickly sucked three keys into the vacuum and threw away the bag before anyone realized. I can laugh now as I tell this to you....but at first I was not laughing. Take care. J.

My Casio CTK-496 Keyboard has three keys (2nd octave F sharp, G, and G sharp that don't play anymore. How do I fix this?

First make sure a keyboard "split" option is not set.

Probably you are going to have to clean the key contacts. They are likely conductive rubber "pills" that are pressed onto a circuit board that has interleaved fingers. Clean both the black pills and the circuit board using ONLY 99% isoprophyl alcohol and Q-Tips.

How do i stop the keyboard from being stuck? I have to hit each key about 3 times before it will compute. I have a sony vaio vgn-cs11oe

Please take your laptop to the service center and get the rubber sheet cleaned(which will be present between keys and the Integrated chip). may be a dusty layer of rubber sheet should have made it harder to react.

also try cleaning the underside of keys using a vacuum cleaner before taking it to the service center. Please try to open the laptop for yourself as it may lead to violation of warranty aspects.
thanks.

Backspace button dont work, Cant push same any two letters in a row

Backspace problem could be a dirty contact, in which case, just take it apart, and clean the whole contact board with electric spray cleaner. Could also be the same software problem with the consecutive letters. Looks like the keyboard driver got corrupted. Reinstall keyboard software / driver

I have a triton le keyboard. i have three keys that are not sounding when pressed

You probably need to clean the contacts underneath those keys that are not sounding, otherwise check the components (diodes, resistors, etc..?) that are connected to those contacts , also check the wires and/or the connector that goes from the contact plate to the main board, see if there are broken wires and resolder, check if the connector pins are dirty or badly soldered and clean/resolder if necessary.

if all of the above fails then It is not a bad thing to check other connectors too, also any ICs that are plugged into sockets as there may be some oxydation so cleaning the connectors and unplugging and reinstalling the ICs could help somewhat.

Hope you can fix it.

KEY BOARD DOSNT WORK PROPERLY

Take the back panel off by undoing the screws ,then un-clip the keyboard & under it you will see a ribbon cable going to the main board theirs two little clips on both sides where it joins, lift them up with your finger nails then push the ribbon in untill it's straight & all the pins are back in then clip it back down.test it before you put it back together.
other than that clean under the buttons with some contact cleaner & a cotton bud..
GOOD LUCK........
