My olympus isn't turning on

I have had this camara for a year. i bought it used and it worked fine. i know that the last time i turned it on i had a full memory. it has sit on turned on for 6 months i re-charged the camara's battery for 3 days which is three times as long as it needs and the charger said it wasn't charged but i tried it anyways and it will not turn on. help! i have photos on there form my trip to monteral

i also have the same problem like urs. But its a rechargable battery and the probLem is the camera wont turn on! huhuh
could any one help pleeeasse!!!!!!!!!!!!! its PANASONIC LUMIX

Try putting in regular batteries and see if it will turn on. The rechargeable batteries might be over-taxed and won't recharge. My Olympus camera works just as good on regular batteries as on the rechargeable ones. It is easier to come up with regular batteries than having to always run to the docking station to recharge the original batteries.

Bottom right there is a button to turn the program on and off. Make sure you have it on. I think a black little
Bar shows if it is on.

this occurs in any device that uses battery/s in some cases a small short forms that drains the batts there is only two fixs have the fault found by a service tech and repaired ( expensive and very hard to find) or store the batts out of the camera untill its being used now if the batts are not lasting in the camera then its the batterys simple. always remember with units such as camers always always use rechargable batts they give a heck of a lot more power drive than shelff pre charged batts

I'm sure the problem with my camara were caused because the battery ran down with the lens extended. Now when I turn on the camara, the lens go out and in 3 times, and then it turn off. Any one has the...

Take out the batteries for a long time and try again later. That might reset whatever internal firmware the camera is using? Just a guess...

Lens not working after only one year

Same here.. bought the camera early April '07. Problem began in May of '08. Turn it on and the lens goes in and out several times but it won't focus.

Olympus SP-320 memory full when 1GB xD picure card in camara

If you download the photos that are on the internal memory to your computer, the next time you take photos it should go to the memory card that is loaded. It worked for me, so I hope that helps
