Power cord for GE hand held mixer

My gold mixer from the 70's still works great but the cord died. Anyone know where I can get a replacement power cord. On the bottom of the mixer it says Cat. No. D1M24 = 120W 120V 50-60 CPS.

I have a gold mixer also, My wife loves it. The cord went
and was unfixable. I found one on this website abtecparts.com.
The cord was $5.99 plus shipping. Good Luck

Hi, I still have mine! Just going through my oldies buy goodies and found my old GE hand mixer - same modle D1M24 - works great, but the beaters are have a little rust. I was hunting for beaters. Have you come across a site that sells replacement parts for vintage GE Hand Mixers?

I need replacement beaters for a GE Hand Mixer?? Model #169204

Amazon reviews are very critical, but you actually can post questions on Amazon to ask if anyone knows where to buy.

It might be possible to buy a full mixer, new or used, and including the beaters cheaply due to their poor reputation, and then use the beaters for your appliance.

Example - already sold but if new would include the GE beaters.

Mixer has had a los of power recently. Yesterday it began smoking and now it won't do anything. Any sugestions?

The motor is probably burnt out. You will need to either replace the motor or buy a new mixer.

That's why I buy $15.00 hand-helds.

I know someone that somehow fitted a hand-held mixer onto their old mixing stand. It's wworth a try when you consider shopping.

My Braun 220 has lost power suggesting motor dying. Can I purchase a replacement hand unit as all the attachments are OK.

I very much doubt if you will be able to purchase the hand unit on its own, and I also doubt if there will be any great saving in doing this.

I need replacement beaters for an old GE hand mixer.

I bought an old GM mixer no. 30M47 with no beaters yesterday at the Salvation Army store. The beaters I have for a newish (ugly) GE hand held beater fit perfectly. I suggest taking your old beater to a store that sells new GE handheld beaters and seeing if the new beaters fit. If anyone reads this and wants me to look up the number of the new ugly beater for them, please say so before I take it to the Salvation Army.. : )

Kitchenaid KHM7T

Hi. Before you take your mixer apart, take a multimeter and test for continuity in the cord. Wiggle the ends of the cord while you're doing this in an attempt to make the cord fail. If it tests out OK, then you must get inside the mixer. If you have the ability to repair the mixer then do so, otherwise take it to a repair place for them to check it out.

Goto www.kitchenaid.com, enter your model # and search for the parts catalog for your mixer. Download the info. This will help you with the project

If this solution has assisted you, please rate it. Good luck! ricardok45

Change power cord on old Hamilton Beach Mixette

You have to unscrew screws at its bottom and strip away the plastic cover. Does it look like this from below?
