Did you try using the front mic/ audio ports, usually they work. It also sounds like a problem with the os.

Hello, i recently bought a new motherboard a Gigabyte GA-8I915P for no reason the mic doesn't work, I've already installed the latest audio drivers for this motherboard, the speakers work fine but why...

Maybe it's not recognized. Unplug every audio device, open Realtek HD Audio Manager and start plugging them back one at a time, the manager should automatically detect that something was plugged in a specific port. Just tell it what you have plugged.

hi there
no ther is no any driver problem
1 there is only the configuration problem
