Failed to get path to mobile navigator - Navigon 2090S Car GPS Receiver

Firstly you need to make sure your GPS card has maps files.
1. check your settings menu
2. try to find out navi path setting option
3. then click the select button to set it, the final path should be with .exe file.
4. Then click OK to save your settings.

Turn off your scanner. Exit the Smart Touch program.

If XP, navigate to this path: C:\Documents and Settings\[User Name]\Local Settings\Application Data\Smart Touch\[Scanner Model]

Windows 7 or 8: C:\Users\[User Name]\AppData\Local\Smart Touch\[Scanner Model]

Delete the "Sys" folder. Turn on the scanner. Re-open Smart Touch. You will see the Sys folder repopulate in the root folder.

Set GPS Path ..
On your Sylvania GPS go to System Setting > GPS Path .This function is to set GPS path for your navigation. Screen display will show asfollows:



File folders of TF card will be listed on screen. Click a folder to open it. Select GPSSoftware If there are two or more maps from different companies on an TF card, then thisfeature can help you select each of them easily. The way to Select: :In TF card directory,open the file folder to find the map to be used, select navigation software of .exe,(whichhas different names from each different company), then select andclicK icon, a dialogue frame will pop up on screen, as it shown below:





Click the accept icon to accept.
Click X icon on the upper right corner to return to GPS path interface.

On my GPS, I scrolled down to and pressed Navi Path, then turned on "Auto run GPS when starting", then set the Navigation Path to Resident\.........\iGO8. It then worked ok.

It is easy, first download and install a program named Fexplorer in your mobile, you can find it here
Then Follow the steps, its easy as 123;

• Insert the card in your mobile, don't access it.
• Run Fexplorer
• Open the path C:\system (First goto C: then navigate to a folder named system)
• You will find a file named mmcstore rename it to mmcstore.txt
• Copy that file mmcstore.txt to your pc and open it.
• You will find the password written in it.

My Evesham nav-cam 7000 model ps1025 is showing the following:-fatal application error Application Mobile Navigator.exe has performed an illegal operation and will shut down.If the problem persists contact the program vendor.Program 0xc0000005 Address 000d026c.What can i do to remedy and get a cd disc for it?

Go into:
-meassages/message settings/common settings or anything similar to this that contains the command "reply path"
-activate reply path to yes.

If you haven't already fixed this; try going into, settings, navsetup, - this should give a Path of navigation software line, this line should read: '\StorageCard\iGO8\iGO8.exe' click on file icon at end of the path window "select storage card, select iGO8.exe, select tick to apply then exit.


This works for mine but I assume that if an alternative software is shown in the path window you must choose an approppriate .exe file in the storage card files.
