Phone line working to fax machine jx500. getting message saying
!!check!! 5100, can you tell me what this means, thank you
I had this problem and solved it = )
You turn off the fax, take the paper out, then open the cover just after you turn it back on.
Leave it open for a minute and let the cartridge go back and forward close the cover and wait till it tell you to press stop and it should be back to normal.

Check 5100 means carriage jammed (can't move right or left) u need a technician support.
