You will have to have the admin lengthen the voicemail answer time, i would add another 15-20 seconds.....but this will make all calls ring your phone longer before going to vociemail

Generally Go To Settings > Call Settings > Additional Settings / Call Forwarding Settings > Voice Calls > Change the always forward Settings, here it will ask you for Number of Rings Before Forwarding. Change that as per your convenience.
Hello,
You need to contact your carrier, ask customer service if they will change the ring time. The number of rings before vaoicemail is not controlled by the phone it is set at the cell phone switching office so they have to do it. Some carriers will some won't.
Good luck,

Hi,
the setting is controlled by your mobile service provider. You will need to ring them and get them to extend the time which it will ring before going to your voicemail.
Another option is to totally disable the voicemail function.
On your blackberry, enter the phone screen, then press the blackberry logo button to open the menu then select options.
Once in the options, select the call forwarding option. Change all settings to "do not forward".
