Yes, that is a bit hot... Buy a can of compressed air and blow the dust and particles out of the vents and fans. You might also want to consider buying a laptop cooler as well.
Try Ebay - also - remove yours so you see how hard it is. You might be better off selling yours for parts and buying a new one. These swaps can be hard to do and there is no 100% guarantee this will fix all the problems.

Motherboards for laptops are generally not available to purchase. If you're having a problem with your laptop, send it to the Manufacturer and have it repaired or replaced.
If your laptop is out of warranty, you'll have to troubleshoot the problem down to which component is causing the problem. If the problem is related to the motherboard, you'll probably have to look into buying a new laptop.
It Can Be One Of Two Things Your Motherboard Was Fried Or Your Battery Was Fried Have You Tryed Buying A New Battery?. If Not I Recommend Buying A Battery And If The Problem Persists You'll Know Its The Motherboard For Sure, And Theres Two Ways You Can Go About The Motherboard Buy A New One And Install It Yourself With The Correct Guide Or Have The Laptop Serviced. Hope This Is Of Some Help
If it is indeed the motherboard, they can range from $80-300 sometimes. Labor as well would be expensive, as it can take an hour or (at max) 2 hours at $100/hr (what they charge at my shop). So unless you've got the patience to take a laptop apart and put it back together with the screws in the right holes then I'd say you're better off buying a new laptop -- some are as low as $300 these days!
Different products have different warranties, so once you contact them they should be able to tell you how long your warranty was. I have looked up a few motherboards for sale by them and they have 3 year warranties.
