Original tires bald on rear at 24,000 mile. rotation per manual. new tires with 40k miloe waranty wore out at 19,000 miles. rotated per manual. Another new set with 55,000 mile warnty shows 4/32 more wear on rear tires at 9000 miles. no ritation prior to 9000. all wear even, not cut or cup.. Alignment checked by dealer at first problem and again after 9000 miles on 3rd st of tires.
Take the car to a suspension specialist shop and have the rear wheels aligned first
have the suspension checked for worn mounts or bad springs
it is very important that the rear end is aligned before the front end
suspect that the suspension rubbers need replacing as it is over 6 years old
the tyre rotation is a myth perpetrated on drivers to sell tyres
when the tyre construction was cross-ply and not radials yes rotation then on cross-ply tyres could get the wear to even out but with radials once the wear is started then the tyre continually wears in that pattern regardless of which wheel it is on
even if you take that tyre of the car and put it on a trailer , it will still continue to wear in that pattern
tyres are no longer rotated but simply put front to back on the same side other wise the belts flex in a new direction in the tread and fail earlier that expected
besides that fact that tyre rotation will not allow you to monitor for suspension problems or wheel alignment problems and cost you 4 tyres at a time instead of two
SOURCE: shakes and vibration
i had the alignment done about six months ago at the dealership. Would they have been able to align the car if something was bad? Not sure how they deemed the new tires bad, but they said they moved the tires from left to right and front to back and could control the shimmy and shake. this has went on for about a year. I dont believe the new tires the first time were bad, i believe the rim was bent. I dont know what to do. These tires have about 10000 miles on them, have been balanced twice, a rim was replaced due to them saying it was bent, but yet, the vibration starts at about 55 and gets worse as you gain speed. Can even feel it in the passenger seat in the front as well. Steering wheel shakes. You can actually see your hand shake while you are driving it, but then at times, it seems to go away and start again. Thanks for any suggestions.

I think what you need is a good lawyer, and make this people pay you all your money back and change the car . did you get a carfax I would recommend to get one , this car maybe was in an accident , and they for sure at the dealer won't tell you..have the car check in a different place . I would recommend a body shop because they will for sure find any type of problem like this one..good luck..www.carfax.com

The fuse panel should have a reset button. May be in the op manual

I don't know enough about the TPMS systems to give you any clue as to what is going on there.
However, it is generally an unacceptable practice to try to repair a tire that has a puncture in the sidewall. The flexing of the sidewall can cause the repair to fail. I would drive very carefully and slowly on a tire that has had such a repair.
