Blank screen I closed my lap top when it was still running and now i have a blank screen. I have turned it on and off and powered right off, it is still blank no icons nothing just a lit blank screen

You need to power drain

step1. remove battery and ac adapter for your laptop
step2. HoLD POWER BUTTON for 30secs-1mint
step3. put back battery and ac adapter
step4. power on it sud boot normally

Bring your laptop under sunlight. If you look very closely and can see your screen then your backlight went out. Otherwise there might be a loose/broken connection to your lcd.

Right click on the desktop. Click on properties, then screen saver. Under power setting you will able to determine when and how the power is programmed.

Had laptop sitting in lap and turned body briefly lap top went off and will not power up. the fan runs but will not power up. screen is blank
you may have hit the sleep or standby button. Try turning the pc off by holding down the power button untill you hear the fans stop. then power up as usual.
