That is up to your telephone service provider. call them and info them off the problem. tell them that you want a busy forward only to line 2. that way after 4 rings it will jump to line 2.

How do i program to use Kx t7730 sharing the same line with a cordless phone using a splitter

Programming a Panasonic KX-T7730 phone to share the same line with a cordless phone using a splitter requires specific steps to ensure proper operation. Keep in mind that splitting a phone line may affect the overall call quality and performance, so it's important to follow the instructions carefully. Here's a general guide to help you set it up:
  1. Obtain the Necessary Equipment:
    • Panasonic KX-T7730 phone
    • Cordless phone (compatible with the line splitter)
    • Telephone line splitter (designed to split the line to multiple devices)
  2. Connect the Splitter:
    • Plug one end of the telephone line from the wall jack into the "Line" or "Input" port on the splitter.
    • Plug the other end of the splitter into the "Line" or "Input" port on the KX-T7730 phone.
    • Plug the cordless phone's base unit into the "Phone" or "Output" port on the splitter.
  3. Configure the KX-T7730:
    • Lift the handset of the KX-T7730 phone.
    • Press the "Program" button, followed by the desired extension number (e.g., "101") or the "Intercom" button.
  4. Select the Line:
    • Press the "0" or "CO" button on the KX-T7730 phone's keypad to select an available outside line (usually labeled as "CO" lines).
  5. Make a Test Call:
    • Place a test call from the cordless phone to ensure that both devices are functioning as expected. Verify that you can make and receive calls from both phones.
  6. Adjust Settings (if needed):
    • Depending on your specific requirements and the features of your phone system, you may need to adjust settings such as ringing patterns, call forwarding, and call waiting. Refer to the user manual for your KX-T7730 phone for instructions on adjusting these settings.
  7. Testing and Troubleshooting:
    • Test the setup thoroughly by making and receiving calls from both the KX-T7730 phone and the cordless phone.
    • If you encounter any issues with call quality, dropped calls, or interference, consider consulting a professional technician or your phone service provider for assistance.

Can I connect Panasonic KX-T7730 to the normal line as other phone are connected?

What? A 7730 is a Panasonic system phone that connects to one of about 18 different Panasonic phone systems. You can connect a single line set in parallel with the PT if you tell it so in software.

How to turn on caller id on Panasonic KX-T7730. How to set outside line on Panasonic KX-T7730 so that a Panasonic cordless phone can call out

CID is part of the phone system and requires a -93 card and system programming. Panasonic makes different systems that the 7730 phone works on, but it was first delivered with the TA-824 or equivalent system. It also needs to be programmed to tell it how may lines are equipped. Then, when you dial "9" to get an outside line, it will grab the highest WORKING line, instead of just the highest line.

FInd the model number on the system cabinet and do an internet search for the installation manual of the system.

Hi, i have a Panasonic KX-T7730 phone. And i have two telephone lines (Line 1 and Line 2) to receive and make calls. I've inaccidentally pressed something and now Line 1 is not working - I am unable to...

From the idle phone press PROGRAM line 1's button and dial 0 1 STORE. That puts line 1 back under the button.

Press PROGRAM or pick up the handset and set it back down to exit programming.

In a TA series, the ringing is programmed in system programs 408-410. You go to the main phone, enter system programming, and select those options and turn on ringing per line and per extension.
