Samsung year 2004. Recently started making problems; The temperature light blinks and it stops cooling. If you unplug it and plug back in, it works, but it stops working again after about 10 or so hours. The technician worked on three times and replace main board, the capacitor and the relay replaced, but problems persist. Anyone knows what is going on. Thanks, Misha

Ok, what I found out is that there are codes built into the front panel. If you hold the top left and right buttons for 5 seconds, the fridge will reset. If there are no issues, the panel goes blank. If there is a dash in the right side of the panel, there is an issue with the fridge side. In the left, freezer side. The dash indicates a defrost problem. Only a couple of things can cause this. 1. Sensor 2. Heater 3. Fan, 4. control board.

Justy a piece of junk. The display has nothing to do with the defrost. Hold your top two buttons for 10 seconds and the displays will reset..good luck.*****

Hey Luckydawg70, did you ever get the issue worked out? I'm experiencing the same thing with mine. I've been unplugging and replugging it in to keep it cold.
