Step 1:
Troubleshooting your wireless connection via your Lenovo computer is not a task that requires familiarity with wireless networks or a vast level of computer troubleshooting knowledge. You can repair Lenovo wireless problems ranging from browser setting errors to hardware connection issues and the only item you will need on hand is the owner's manual that was shipped with your router. You will not require any additional devices or tools and should not have to resort to the expensive aid of a technician.
Launch the web browser you normally operate and check the "Work Offline" settings. Click on the top toolbar where it says "File" and scroll down to where it says "Work Offline." Ensure this selection is not checked, otherwise it will impede the operation of your wireless connection. Click on this option to uncheck it. Look over the connection made between your modem and wireless router. Both devices have an Ethernet port on the rear. It looks like an overd telephone cord port. If these ports are not occupied by an Ethernet cable, connect one end of the cable to each device. This connection cannot be loose. Check your records for the password to your Lenovo wireless setup if you have a secured connection. (A secured connection is recommended). If you cannot find your password in your records, you will need to reset it. Find the manual that shipped with your router and extract two important pieces of information. The first is the special web address the manufacturer provided for you to set up your router's settings; the second is the default password for your router. Enter the web address from the manual into the web browser and click "Enter." When prompted, input the default password from the wireless router. Choose a new password for your wireless connection now that you have access to the settings. Additionally, ensure the kind of wireless security you are using is "WPA." "WEP" is another available option, but it is an older encryption type and is technically inferior. Click on the wireless network icon on the right side of the bottom toolbar in Windows on your Lenovo computer. A list of wireless networks within range of your Lenovo computer will appear. Click on the name of your wireless network and input your new password when prompted. Look to the bottom right of your Windows desktop. You should get a notification stating that you have successfully joined the network

How do i turn the wifi on on my lenovo ideacentre b3?

Step 1:
In order to connect to a wireless network and the Internet on an IBM Lenovo machine, you must first enable wireless networking via your computer's operating system. Allow about five minutes to enable your IBM Lenovo computer's wireless capabilities.

Click the Windows logo in the bottom left of your screen. Select "Control Panel" from the menu. Click the "Network and Internet" icon in the Control Panel. Click "Network and Sharing Center." Right click "Wireless Network Connection" icon. Select "Enable." Enable Wireless via Switch Check your IBM Lenovo laptop for a wireless networking switch. It is usually on the front of the computer above the keyboard. Slide the wireless switch to the "On" position. Look for a wireless light on the front of the laptop. In some cases a light will come on to indicate that wireless networking is active. Other switches, when active, reveal a green strip of plastic.

I bought lenovo b3 series 3 days ago n not it doesn't start normally , i hv to start the pc in safe mode n then i can use it, why?

Safe Mode is for trouble shooting only. I would take it back immediately if it's new.

You should have never had to use the disc, being so new. Unless it was a floor model?

Lenovo 3000 Y410 Wifi Problem

That is odd, I've never seen anything like that. I asked a few of the other top experts, and they've never heard of anything like that happening either. There are no adjustments for this type of thing. It could be too strong. How far away from your house can you get with the machine still seeing the wireless? I hate to say it, but you may just have to live with it, and, honestly, I think it's more their problem than yours. I'll look around some more on this, since you've got me curious, and if I find anything I'lllet you know.
