Going on what little you have written, the most likely cause is a worn or bent needle. http://www.turntableneedles.com/search.asp?keyword=793-d&search=GO is the needle type that should be correct for your Teac SL-A100 Turntable.

On the Wurlitzer OMT 1015 45rpm jukebox the needle is skating over the record?

Incorrect weight on the stylus arm, or the speed is wrong, or the stylus is worn, or full of fluff.

The needle and arm just slide all the way to the end of the record. What can I do? Thanks!!

The needle (stylus) has fallen off the end of the cantilever that contacts the record surface. U need a new stylus assembly.

OR, it is bent at an extreme angle and slides across the record surface.

THE TONE ARM ON MY ROCKOLA 459 SLIDES OVER THE RECORD WITHOUT PLAYING.

Hi
It sounds as if the tone arm has become unbalanced. Make sure the turntable is on a firm flat horizontal surface and at the opposite end of the arm from the needle there will be a weight and a means of altering the position of weight on the tone arm. This weight keeps the needle on the record but only lightly when positioned correctly. If positioned too far from the pivot post the needle will as you have experience skip virtually straight across the record. You need to adjust the weight so that the needle just sits in the groove and plays without being too heavy. It is best to use a record you are not too worried about for this testing as the test record can sometimes get scratched.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

The tone arm drops onto the record, but then continues moving across the record without playing the record. Anyone know what's going on?

Does the needle actually contact the record? If not, you may be missing a "pad" under the record, or you may be simply missing the needle that needs to be there to follow the grooves.

Needle stylus unit rubbing the record.

There's too much weight on the stylus or the needle is not inserted correctly.

Needle slides across record

It could be 3 different things. The first is check the needle make sure its not dirty. the second is make sure the weight is set correctly. And the third is did you take the tone arm off the protective part that holds the tone arm in place when moving or travelling .

The needle has started to slide as playing only 30 seconds on a record

You either need a new stylus (there not called needles anymore) or the counterbalance has come loose (at the end of the arm). Therefore more weight needs to be applied.

My record stylus slides across records

There are a couple of reasons this is happening. First and formost gently lift the stylus arm and blow any and all dust off of the needle. You may even have to gently 'pinch' off any accumulated dust. Be careful since you don't want to pull the playing needle off.
This is a very common problem. If this does not help, you need a new stylus needle for the arm.

Needle slides across the record on Crosley 5 in 1 player

you have unscrewed the suspension screw?

also check the needle for dirt and dust... try blue tacking a 5p coin to the top on the needle to give it a little more weight, if the needle stays in place then the arm balance if off, and unless there is a mechanism to adjust that on this turntable then i guess its a return!
