You can't delete songs off the iRiver from the device, you have to do it from the PC using the iRiver Music Manager Software that can be found on their website

New battery fitted,just says loading???

If your mp3 turns on, then it means the battery is doing its job already to power the device on. Once it is showing loading and nothing else, then it means there is a problem somewhere and that has to do with a software problem. The solution to that is for you to connect your mp3 to a computer, then you copy all your songs to the computer, format the mp3 and restore the songs back on it, that way, your mp3 will be able to read the files on it and get pass the loading page. Hope this information was helpful.

Only half of my music shows on a computer while the other half shows on another.

install winamp on your friends computer and see if they show up.

Are you saying the songs don't show up on the actual device on when you connect it to the computer?
