Lay down the tv picture screen on a soft flat surface.Check all the screws holes and take out all the screws.Take ur hand holding on to the tv and base stand tight.Pushes in and out few times.The base stand should came wright out..

How do I install the pedestal stand for the 47hl167 lcd Regza? I had it mounted on the wall. We moved and need it on the stand. Thanks

the stand just slots into the bottom of the tv and you just tighten it with four bolts provided.

Im wanting mount my 37 in toshiba regza but i can figure out how to take off the bottom brace that supports the tv as it stands. i have taken off all the screws but the brace or base still wont come off.

Carefull turn the tv on it's back and remove the 2 black screws in the bottom of the stand in addition to the screws on the back that I assume you already removed.

Check carefully with a flashlight to see if you removed all the screws completely. The stand should pull out quite easily as long as all the screw are out on the back bottom center of the TV.

How do you get the stand off the tv for wall mounting?

there is 2 or 3 screws in the back of the lcd that you can take off, and the stand will come out, then put hte screws back in for future use.

Cant get my stand of my tv to mount it on the wall can you help?

If you turn the set over you will see a set of screws attached to the bottom of the stand (inside hollow area). There also two screws I believe on the back of the unit near the stand area that need to come out. The stand should come off now. But do you really want to mount it on the wall?

Removal of stand

There are 5 screws in the back of the TV, immediately above the stand. From the stand, they are at the 10:00, 11:00, 12:00, 1:00, and 2:00 locations. If you remove the screw, and find a washer with the screw, then it's probably the right one. Once all 5 screws are removed, the stand slides right off the bottom. Unfortunately, once the stand is removed, the opening is left in the bottom. It's not too bad since once it's mounted to the wall, it's not high enough to see the bottom of the TV anyway. Good luck!

Forget the four holes on the bottom of the stand. Remove the five allen bolts on the back bottom of the tv-not the stand. Yank on stand and metal plate slides out with stand.

thank you so much for that info i was so frustrated with tring everything did the whole call toshiba thing and they were like oh take the jack thing off and it was not very helpful but once i saw this and did it it worked like a charm thank you so much as it was very very helpful
