My problem is with my 1 1/2 year old Sylvania hdtv. I turned it off yesterday morning and it won't turn on. I have left unplugged overnight for the "factory settings" to go back into effect. I have checked and double checked the power cord. No power, nothing. It is dead. Anything you can do to help?

This may be related to the antitheft system The system is known for turning off the starter and/or injectors when it fails. Is there a light on the dash that says SECURITY? This is a common problem worth looking into. http://www.diy-gm-security.com/
I looked up your model number. You particular machine allows for wash with the lid open. You nothing happens. On that case I would check the motor capacitor.
the only thing you can try to do: unplug TV, let it "reset" for a minute or so, then plug it back in. If that won't help, means: surrender to repair service. for 1 year, even with 24/7 usage, there is a slim chance for "bloated" capacitors inside of TV's power supply, but quite a good chance of your main board failure. Now a days they quite compact, packed with high temperature producing IC chips, led-free solder, which has drawback of "fatigue" failure. Or, there might be power surge involved. Most likely you will have to replace the power supply. It is a very common problem especially in newer electronics. You can test it with voltmeter or multi-tester. They tend to get worn capacitor inside the power supply due to cheaper parts
Hold the phone button down for about 4 seconds.. The light should blink 2 times and then stay on to add device to your phone once connected light will go out...Hold button down again light will blink 3 times and go off...........
I turned the fridge side off on mine, and left it overnight (last night!). This morning there is frozen stuff in the freezer. I think the compressor motor just needed ALOT of time to cool down b4 it would work properly again
