The L6 code means trouble with the laser unit ( polygon motor), it has to be replaced. The laser unit is under the exit tray. Hope this helps.

SOURCE: error code

Hi, H4 is a heater error. Try resetting it by the following; Enter #, interupt, Clear, interupt, display goes dead, enter 14 then print. That will clear the error code, however if you have a problem with the heater it will return. It is probably the thermal fuse has tripped, which is resetable by removing the fuser unit

SOURCE: Sharp AR 163 display L6 error

The error is for the polygon motor if you have done the test for the motor and it doesnt work I think thereis the answer because they spin so fast the motors will eventually go if it had been a little noisy p[rior to this then it has a read or seize error if you know how to take it out youcan manually gently spin it to see if it is stuck just make sure you use a clean dry cloth to cover it prior to turn as you might mark the mirrors.. Good Luck A
