Losing Picture recently started to fail. first a flash of green on the screen. screen goes dead. status/power light starts blinking. unplug the set for a few minutes. plug it back in, picture is back and stays for a while. problem repeats. please help, I love this set.

Ebay lamps can cause this as they are not originals also the balast supply, is gas discharge type, can fail.

14 blinks to Sony Brand LCDs indicates a 'Backend error'. It means that, the main board to this TV should be checked for fault. Since you say that there is sound but no picture, the first thing I would check would be the status of the lamp. I believe that the lamp has been shattered or the filament is blown. Please verify this and let me know

Ur video backlight board it dead,must replaced to get the picture back.

Power packs can be repaired, and most time it is simply capacitors. I don't charge an arm and a leg

try adjusting your color tuners located inside tv behind speakers.

Similar problem with my Sony. Unplug for 36 hours from the wall and it fixed my problem
