This is a result of the deck kicking out you disc as an unacceptable media. This usually means that it can not read the data on the disc or the necessary TOC (Table of Contents).
The other possibility is that your draw in detection switch has gone bad and when the processor- control type, tries to load a tray or close the drawer it is not getting the door closed signal. Depending on how the unit is programmed it might just sit there and do nothing or in your case throw the disc back out.
It is kind of telling you it wants to go see a Technician.
It could also be a bad belt that loads the Pickup assembly- it might be good enough to move the drawer in and out but the Pickup assembly needs more torque and it might not be there.

SOURCE: my CD changer's disk tray keeps opening up, refuses to play discs

You have a problem with the try control circuit. It could be the switch is leaking across itself. Could be a problem with the tray motor control IC, or the Microprocessor is not reseting the open tray line correctly, or theres a cam assembly inside the unit that tells the microprocessor where everything is by means of small micro/leaf type switches thats out of alighnment or broken. If its seven years old, you got more then it was designed for and I would'nt invest a dime or the time into the repair of this unit. Time to take a trip to the electronics store. Good luck

SOURCE: The disc tray of my Yamaha cdc-745 CD player does open properly.

It's the belt inside the machine - open tray and look in front left side and you will see it. Easy to change out with new one.

SOURCE: need drawer belt for Yamaha cdc-805 CD changer

Any decent repair shop should have a large supply of replacement belts. The Part number isn't necessary. Just take the old one in and get a new one just 2mm smaller than the original. Some repair shops won;t sell them because they don't want you repairing your own property but a decent shop should sell you one.

SOURCE: I have a cdc 675 CD changer, When I close the draw

It's reporting that it (correctly or incorrectly) detected that the drawer has not fully "closed", i.e., it thinks that there was a "jam" while the drawer was sliding towards the "closed" position.

This sounds (pun intended) like you need to take the unit to a qualified audio/video technician, to trouble-shoot, and maybe check the "alignment" of the drive-tray.

CDC-735

Part Number VQ776900. I got it online for 99 cents but other places can be up to 7-8.00 dollars. I removed 5 screws on the sides and rear of the case. Took case off. Press the open button and help the drawer open with your hand while the motor tries to. Then remove old belt with pliers or paper clip, etc.
I did not take anything apart on the inside to replace the belt. Push the belt into the player over the larger wheel and then I pulled the belt with a paper clip over the smaller drive wheel.

How can i program the CDC-565 without a remote?

Unofrtunately there is no way to program this changer without the remote, as their buttons allow only selecting tracks between discs when they are being played.

Disc door keeps opening.

The drawer belt may also lift the laser up to meet the CD . If the belt is bad , the CD player will kick out the CD.
Change the belt.

Yamaha cdc 555 5 disc cd player

If you trust yourself enough to open the case w/o breaking stuff, then open it up UNPLUGGED, locate the laser lens (small, clear, plastic) gently clean the lens with a swab of lens cleaner for glasses.
Also clean the chrome runners that the laser assembly tracks on.

YAMAHA CD PLAYER WON'T PLAY

GG  My kids had a PlayStation 2 that did this and so did my AIWA 3 CD player.  The solution for the PlayStation was to remove the cover use alcohol and clean the lens of the laser reader.  They get dust on them and simply cannot read.  The AIWA required replacement of the laser which cost almost as much as the unit and didn't last 6 months.
