Buzzing sound My refrigerator is making a loud buzzing sound. It seems like it is trying to connect to the something. When the connecting is successful it has a soft humming sound but when it is not successful if tries repeatedly giving off a buzzing sound. What is the problem? Can I fix it myself or do I need to call a professional? Thanks.

I would check the caps on the power supply. They are rather large electrolytic capacitors that will look like they burst and/or leaking. When these die, the caps ground and the sub will make a loud buzzing sound. If you are handy with a soldering iron you can replace them yourself. Replace them with the same voltage or a little bigger and same with the size.

If the cap. says 16v 4700pF on it, for example, a 20v 5300pF or a 16v 6200mF cap. will work for this application.

When a start relay and the coil that opens the water for the ice maker or the water dispenser begin to weaken they some times buzz. Its possible you will need to either replace the=> 67003753 Water Inlet Valve


or the compressor=> 67005560 Relay or overload with run capacitor

Is it buzzing from the bottom rear of the unit?

Is the buzzing sound like power line buzz or something else? Web search "buzzing audio cable" for ideas that match your symptom.

Checx the wire connection and the way u food is inside ur frig. Maybe something is not at the right place!

seems the the motor is ****! avoid switching it more further to prevent its motor from burning!
motor could be stuck due to rust build-up.
or something might have jammed along the motor area or along the rotating part.

check your connections again, if you have the audio and video reversed you will get this exact problem no video/ fuzzy video, and squealy noise out of only one speaker (other will likely sound correct) You're watching the sound channel, and listening to the video channel basically... hehe
