K, this could be a couple problems. How far down did you take it to clean? Are you comfortable with removing the combustion chamber/housing from unit. There are 4 screws in the top cover and 2 down where the work contact is. Remove them leaving just the fan assembly and handle housing. Next locate the roller arm next to the fan assembly, put a fresh battery in tool and push the arm (KEEPING HANDS AWAY FROM FAN) the fan should come on, if not you probably have an electronic assembly that is bad, if it does come on it should stop in a few seconds. Next depress the trigger and again the fan should come on. Now to diagnose the firing unit. Depress the lever on the roller arm and hold in while pulling trigger, you should see a spark and also hear it where the plug is. If not then you either have a spark unit that is bad or a wiring problem. At this point I would take in for repair. The spark unit is around 90-100 dollars When you put back together did you also replace the orings or clean the ring grooves? Let me know if you have any questions

I had the same problem with my angled finish nailer. After pulling apart the nailer to clean it and check all the wiring, I discovered that the wire from the spark plug, where it connects to the trigger, was not fully engaged/inserted. There is about 1/8" to 3/16" of insulation stripped from the wire's end that allows the wire to insert into the base of the sealed trigger mechanism. I made sure the wire was fully seated and applied some glue to the point where the insulated wire leaves the sealed unit. Once reassembled, the gun fired like a charm and has not failed to fire once since (after 1000 or so nails). Hope this helps.

It needs to be cleaned and oiled. You can buy an electrical cleaner spray and oil specific for paslodes at Home Depot. You will have to take the back off (where the filter is) and clean it with the cleaning spray then oil it well. Put it back together and it will work like new again. You will be surprised how much difference it will make. Good luck

She wont fire, just bought from ebay

1.If fan is work check gas cell(use only paslode gas) and best before date(expired date)
2.If fan isn't working check that the battery is fully charged.
3.Make sure filter is clean and you can see through it.(no dirt or grit)
4. If after that it still isn't working you will have to take to your nearest paslode repair agent.(check on there web site for your local repairer)

good luck.!

Paslode im250 type 2 wont fire

sounds like its losing presure when fireing it could be the next oring if its the rubber one replace if its the metal one take them out and clean the grove they sit in and make sure u space them, meaning the gap in the rings should be set 180 deg apart. this should work if u r getting a spark when the gun is apart. the cable could be making a bad contact at the spark unit and when u r checking this make sure its getting a good contact at the spark plug as well hope this helps u.

Pasload cordless finishing gun - still won't fire

barrel and fan cover 'o' rings may be leaking/ need replacing. item no 17 on the parts diagram.

Do you have a spark, you should just be able to hear the spark firing when the gun is applied to the work surface and the trigger pulled, it sounds like a click.if no spark heard it could be the switch on the fan head not working , a bad ignitor , or the spark is not sparking in the correct place, chaffed ignition wires.

is the gas you are using in date, there should be a date stamp on the gas bottle. if its out of date it can give problems.

I shot six mails and the frame nailer gun stopped working (could no longer dispense nails) I have a frame impulse cordless; the fan engages upon tip compression, I pull the trigger, the framer does not...

First, make sure you gas is not expired, it has a date on it. Take off the back cover with the allen wrench and two phillips head screws on the sides. Pull it out, being very careful and make sure when you put it back the wires are tucked in there place again. There is an o-ring under the fan that may need replacing causing the vacuum to not work. Also, make sure the little spark plug is clean of all carbon residue. Clean with some WD40 or ether. Worst case scenario fan motor or spark plug. You can find parts for these things. Lemme know. Please rate me

Firing pin not retracting far enough to allow nails forward

Yes,this is a common "mis fire" by Pasilode. I own the 16p Framer and the Angle nailer and I never get it from the Framer but I do get it seldom from Trim Gun,nothing you can do ,its just a misfire.
