There appear to be a number of models, so there is limited help in the link. It may be call waiting, answerphone, or missed call. The only way to find out is by calling the service provider.
If you are setting up an account for the first time, the app asks for a user name and password that you can use to access the account. You enter the user name you wish to use, but if someone else already has an account using that user name, you will be told it is already in use and asked to enter a different one. Sometimes they even suggest a new one, often the same with a few numbers added to the end. Simply keep entering names until you get one that is accepted.
Push the top left button (looks like an audio tape). Then push 5 (has a play symbol on it) You can use 4 and 6 to navigate saved messages or use # (has a 'X' on it too, to delete messages).
To turn off/on the answering machine:
I lost my user manual for my Doro 615R+1 home phone, so after much deliberation and playing with many buttom combinations, worked out how to turn off the answering machine.
- Open the answering machine function by pushing the top left button (looks like an audio tape).
- Push '0' and then use the up and down arrows to select On or Off.
- To enter your selection puch the top right button (looks like and arrow into a diamond).
