Green power light comes on goes off then on again stays solid, moniter says no signal, mouse lights up, and three red lights on key board flash then nothing why?

i think your power supply has blown, take it to a computer store and ask them to replace the power supply then your problems should be over but you could just ask them to transfer computer box and that should also fix your problem because most boxes have a power supply in them. a small test you can do before that is get a switch open the pc and connect it to the mother board (without soldering it) if it turns on it is the switch then you buy a box if it doesn't make sure you dont use a toggle switch if you use a small hold switch and it wont turn on get a new box.

Sounds like the memory is faulty. If there theres more than 1 memory module just try one at a time until you find the faulty 1. If only 1 in there replace it the speed of memory should be written on the old one. Cheers from Scott pls dont forget to vote

Welcome to Fixya. I would like to verify some importand details about the issue so that we can determine the cause of the problem. When you turn on the computer the power indicator, cooling fans and hard drive works but there is no display on the monitor is that what you meant? If this is happening on the computer it is called no boot, no display or no post. POST is the power on self test that you will see incase you turn on the computer. In your case since the monitor is working on the other computer it means that that is ot the problem. If no display happens on a computer an you are using the onboard display the problem is the MOTHERBOARD. Please stop tuning on the computer because this might case other problem on the other device on the computer like the hard drive, memory and the processor. It would be better to chage the motherboard of the computer or check the warranty of it then bring it to acer or emachine service center for them to replace it. CMos battery will not fox this issue. Start up disk won't either because this is a hardware issue.

sounds like a bad power supply... get one from newegg.com they are easy to replace, it will only plug in to the place it is supposed to.... check wattage out put and get same or higher

DID YOU TRY A DIFFERENT MONITOR TO SEE IF THATS IT OR IT THE COMPUTER. SETTING COUSE THAT PROBLEM TO. THIS MAY HELP.
