SOURCE: Need instructions for threading Juki MO 3314

Open the font of the serger and the instructions will be printed on the serger or on the door.

Raise the presser foot and set the tensions to zero when threading.

Turn the hand wheel so the upper looper (curved one) is at it's highest point and thread it first, and then the lower looper.

With some sergers you must thread in a certain sequence. This should be indicated in the instructions on the serger.

Set the tensions back to normal ( 4 - 6), lower the presser foot and run a length of stitching to see if the threads are knitted together as they should before you start serging your project.

Sewing machines i cant get my juki lu 562 to make a single stitch nothing

Try installing a brand new needle. If it still will not pick up the bobbin thread, the machine may be knocked out of time. Take it for service.

I have a juki lu 562. Adjusting stitch length. For some reason it will not go to 9, 10, , 11 on scale. Will not go any farther than 8, then turning wheel opposite goes to 12.

Turn it to either extreme and then see if the feed dogs hit the plate when you hand turn the hand wheel towards you. Sometimes the feed dogs or plate have been replaced and they have set the stich length so that the feed dogs won't hit the ends of the plate.

Can't get Juki tension right

which tension is wrong
if thread is bunching up under material increase the tension of the needle thread if the bottom thread is loose then increase the bobbin thread tension
each thread result for above or below material will indicate which thread to alter the tension on

I have a Juki LU-562 sewing machine I was sewing thick leather it made this clunk noise and a spring flew out of it underneth it now the hook just turns and it doesn't sew.

Like most of the older sewing machines, the lu-562 is usually an easy fix when it comes to issues of timing and even broken parts. First determine where the spring came from and that should point you to the parts that need replacing and/or readjusting. But, by all means DO NOT continue operating the machine until its fixed. Without actually seeing the machine, it sounds as if the needle bar spring failed.
