SOURCE: Mother Board connection

Go to the site below. Its a manual for the 800/i65GV group. Go to page 67 and zoom in. You'll get a nice look where everything goes. Two rows of pins. Upper row and bottom row. Real close to each other. Do not place connectors up to down. Connect only left to right.
The reset connector has two pins. One will be white or black. These are - grounds. So connect it to the bottom row onto the most right two pins. Moving to your left. Skip one pin. Take the Power Switch a two pin connector. Remember Black & White is ground & ground goes to your right for both rows of Mb pins.

Go to IDE_LED next. Its the last two pins towards your most left of the bottom row of pins. Move to the upper row & the power LED. Same as the bottom row keping the grounds to your right. Lastly is the speaker. Its connector holds four pins but you only use two. One in each end.

Good luck & please vote....

SOURCE: Connecting

Marked on the motherboard are abbreviations for those connections ie. PWR SW, additionally your included user manual should specifically detail the installation process... if this still seems to much for you, perhaps you should not risk damaging the system further and seek assistance from a (bricks and mortar) PC store and/or technician.

Computer power supply does not work

Need to know how old a computer it is as over the years the power supplies' use different methods of starting.

On newer computers the power supply is connected to the mother board by a 20 or 22 pin connector. The power button on the computer is just a momentary switch to start the computer. Make sure the large connector is firmly seated in the mother board. If you are comfortable with doing that have someone else check it. You do not want to damage the connector or mother board. You need to have some sort of anti static device conntected to your body to avoid any static discharge that could damage the mother board.

When switch on printer error appears on the screen and ask to switch off the printer

Possible that the mother board has errors and hence when the power is applied it tends to load with a wrong data so that the processor senses the error to shut down.
Remove the power supply to the the main board and then remove all connectors and connections. Replug the connections making sure there is no loose connection. if the error still come up on the screen on swithch on the mother board is faulty. If there is any visible damage seen on the power supply replace the capacitors.

My s88m g/gl motherboard is not switching on ,but the power supply is working

Power supply is other thing, means she ( Power Supply ) supply the power to *********** board. When mother get the power than she supply all the device. If, *********** board have problem, means not connect properly or burn ( any device ) than she not run. Better you check your all connect device with processor also.

Not able to switch on the mothere board. Green led on the board glows but the system is not powering on.

1. Check the mother board user manual 1st. To see how to properly install this mother boar to your PC cabinet or tower.
2. Check to see if you have the power from the power supply correctly connected
3. You may not have the proper watts or power from the power supply to power said mother board.
4. check the mother board battery it may not have proper voltage it should be 3.9 volts or more with a voltage meter check.
usually a 2025 button battery on the board

New installation of mother board

Hi check the cables from the case to the mother board. They should be marked and the book that came with the board will tell you where to connect them. The std markings are HDD [red led] PWR S [powerswitch] RSW [reset switch] PWR LED [case power light] To test if there is no fault in the board or power pack. first visualy check the board to see if you have a red led light on when the power is turned on, if not the problem is in the power pack or the wall outlet. second if the light is on, the bridge the pins marked pwr switch on the board with a screw driver and this should start the computer, if not you have a faulty board.
