Panasonic KX-T7630 Corded Phone Logo
Posted on Oct 28, 2012

Our KX-T7630 seems to delay a few days before sending individual message bank messages through to individual handsets. How can this be? I arrive at the Office, take 2 or 3 messages off, the phone doesn't ring for half an hour then suddenly the red light comes on & tells me I've got 4 messages from last week!! What The??

Hi
When your red light is on with the handest down presss the message key. this will tell you where the message has come from. I expect you will see that an internal extension has dialled you by mistake. It is a message waiting function on the system for user to call back on. Nothing to worry about. To clear the light you have 2 options either press the clear button on the display for each message or dial *700(then your extension number)

SOURCE: we have had a panasonic

We have this model also, and have exerienced similar problems. Try disconnecting all of the phone lines for that ph number, for a minimum of 30 seconds. Reconnect and the line should be functioning again. It always works for me.

SOURCE: Message Lamp does not light

This will be a two step answer. Walk to any other extension and dial *701 plus the extension that doesn't work. If it lights the message waiting lamp (of course it will), then please look for your voice mail system cabinet. It may be black, with a dark blue cover the same as the TDA phone system. Part numbers would be TVA-50 or TVA-100.

If all of the above is true, you need to do some notification programming in the voice mail system. Do you have the programming software if it's a TVA?

SOURCE: Semi Dead Panasonic KX-TGA100N with ''C533'' displayed.

Panasonic KX-TG1050N Cordless Phone. Base handset (No. 1, KX-TGA100N) does not work, no keypad response or dial tone. Green indicator message light ON (should only work with the TG1000N base unit) all the time till battery runs down. Display shows message ?C533?. Can still send and receive calls on extension phones 2 and 3.

The KX-T7710 isn't an answering machine. The ring count is controlled by the answering machine or voicemail system connected to the phone line. Could you tell us the make and model?

No. The KX-T7630 is a phone, not an answering machine.

Hi im trying to change the message setup when we switch the phone to night mode I cant seem to find any referance to this in the manuals i have it is a kx-t7630

The 7630 is just a phone. You have both a phone system and voice mail system and the message is located there. Find another set of manuals and WRITTEN instructions as to where the outgoing messages are stored. In a TVA voice mail system, they are changed via the message manager's mailbox #998.

Changing Panasonic KX- T7630 Business Phone Answering Message

You don't "lose" the manual, it comes on a CD. The Panasonic system probably has a TVA voice mail system and it requires you to change the Auto Attendant greeting from the message manager's mailbox. If you don't have the passwords for mailbox 998 and 999, you need to contact someone who has them and a layout of the system.

Your Panasonic technician can guide you through the process.

KX-T7630 - Are we able to delete all messages from our system without listening to them, or do we have to go through and delete each one individually?

Yes and no. You could delete the mailbox and install it again, you could set it up in Class of Service to auto delete messages after a certain age, but all of those things require a whole lot of work and you can't erase the GDM (998).

Without picking up the handset, press the messages button and look at the display! Softkeys 2 and 3 should become something else, one of them being CLEAR. Press that button until your messages go awaay.
