I have a Maytag MTB2191AR Top Freezer Refrigerator that has stopped working at all. Came home from a 3 week out of town trip to find it has no power. Checked breakers, none tripped. Checked power at o

Checked breakers, none tripped. Checked power at outlet, good. Turned thermostat off and back on. This unit is only 4-5 years old. Any ideas?

take it back as it's a fire hazard.  Get a replacement.

Replace the cold control (off/on thermostat switch).

excess moisture in the electric lines. possibly have mold growth on point contacts. check for dead yes dead mice or roaches or ants. if all is good use a dehumidaphifer. I know. spelling/

Yes the fan motor can be the problem but I would disconnect the wiring from fan and use a voltage meter to see if the problem is coming from mother board or like some models the fan also turns off when freezer door is open, meaning bad door switch. But must not assume at this point. Give me a few moments and I will send you detailed information, Sea Breeze Can you confirm that your model number is the MTB1911AR? Sounds alo like a series of events are taking place so it is a tossup of the fan or a defrost problem but if the fan stops it will cause the evaporator to freeze over and the compressor will struggle to pump the -20 degree freon. Maytag plus frig bottom freezer

Whirlpool refrigerator and freezer problem. a cup was place in the refrigerator to catch the percipitation coming from an inlet from the freezer. Which they are two inlets located in the center back of the refrigerator from the ceiling adjacent to the floor of the top freezer. the Freezer back t-shape vent goes down to these inlets where the percipitation is coming from. What is this the damper
