My factory stereo wont go in to cd mode why

Do you have a CD inserted into unit? Does the unit accept cd's when inserted? If so can you hear the disk spinning up once inserted? If so is the CD a home made or store bought album? Try a different CD. If still will not play automatically look for a input button on unit.

I inserted a cd audio on my laptop but i checked for the properties of the cd's that i inserted on the disctray there is no data found,it shows that inserted a blank cd,but im sure its not

I think that cd audio is different than cd data. So, it may show up blank to the computer. Also, computer burnt cd if cd-rw will not play in some cd players that aren't designed for it.

Does not recognize disk

Either:
* the disk you're inserting is not "empty" -- try it on a different computer;
* you should try a different manufacturer of "blank" disks;
* you need to upgrade the "firmware" inside your CD-writer, to recognize more brands of "blank" media;
* the CD-reader is malfunctioning -- when you "cancel" the burn-attempt, and insert a commercially-produced program CD or commercially-produced audio CD, can those disks be properly read?
* you have two CD/DVD devices in your computer, and you're inserting the "blank" disk into the "wrong" device.

CD drive clicking sound

Hello my friend please try to insert 2 new CD. and then try to observe the sound if it is still sounds like the weird. Then if you notice that the 2 new CD you insert produce same sound as your old one then i recommend that if you can find computer technician in your place to verify if your DVD/CD Rom is defective or not cause as of now if the 2 new cd inserted produces same sound as your old cd inserted then DVD/CD Rom has something to do its either defective or has a serious problem that needs assistance.

Thank you

Not reading any cd format

Hi i have just been able to sort this problem, if your system says "NO CD" after it is inserted then the CD is not sitting right inside, solution for this is, join the philips club (free) and update the firmware and update the Gracenote software

1, insert the cd so it is in then turn it off and unplug then take another cd insert it in slowly to push the other one down a bit until it stops (may only move a couple of millimetres, you are only using the cd as it fits the slot so don’t try and insert it!!) plug the centre back in and turn the centre on, it will boot back up and eject the cd that’s still in, wait until it is fully booted and insert the cd again, that should work

OR

2, insert the cd so it is in then turn it off and unplug then you can open the product and physically push the cd down (be careful when you take the lid off as the cd will not be fully slotted down and there are a couple of cables that can pop out but they are easy to put back and obvious) Put the lid back on and plug the centre back in and turn the centre on, it will boot back up and eject the cd that’s still in, wait until it is fully booted and insert the cd again, that should work

any probs just mail back and ill help as much as i can
