I came home from work and my xbox power button was red. No red blinking lights just solid red power button. i unplugged it all night and plugged it back in and it was still still red. so i took it down stairs to my roommate and he puugged it in and it was green and there was no problem i took it upstairs to use it and it worked for about thirty seconds then froze and went red. i got this for 2011 christmas and i have taken very good care of it i would just like to know how to fix this problem.

Turn console of, hold sync button down wich is the small white button next memory card slots, while holding turn on console and wait till it boots. If this does not work go to system blade, select memory, press y on the HD symbol, press xx left bumper right bumper xx, select yes. This will restart your console from scratch though all profiles and saved data will be lost, but it will clear any corupt data.

The SONY Owner's Manual for the KDS55A2000 does not state what the 4 times blinking Power LED means.
However, my Sony Extended Care Service support insists that the projection lamp is the cause for the 4X blinking LED
Power light.
I do not agree but am forced to buy a replacement lamp (not cheap) to prove that the problem is probably the fan, as the TV Technician states elsewhere in these FixYa support questions and answer

OK, this is a power supply issue here. you will need to replace the power supply board asap/ it is malfunctioning.
