My Benq monitor model V772 turn yellowish occasionally

Hi, I have a Benq V772 monitor, several days ago i was getting a vertical line which was about 5 cm wide on left side of the screen. When i knock on the monitor it becomes ok, I though it was a dry joint, so i soldered suspicious components on the pcb which is attached to the tube. Now my screen is turning yellowish from time to time. When i knock on the screen it becomes ok. Can anyone help me please

To solve the problem on my monitor i did a thorough inspection on the pcb which is fixed on the tube and i solder components which looked suspicious for dry joints.

Hi,

The picture board on your monitor is bad, since the lines are causing visual display, it means the picture board of your monitor has developed fault.

The best thing for you to do now is to take the monitor to a local repairer within your vicinity to help with the replacement of the picture board because the fault is not something you can fix yourself. in other not to complicate issues.

.Bad news.It cant be fixed.Try to take it back to the shop and get a replacement one.It might work for a few months or so but it is certainly a faulty screen.

Benq 17"Lcd monitor fault

Resolder the power transistors on inverter board and also check them.If display is not there at all some of this 4 transistors C5707 should be defective.Check associated fuse and Fet which drives the transistor.

Also check with Benq ,Normally offers three year warranty.

Benq v772 CRT show only Blue and Green color

It has to be either a cable or an IC issue. Get your cable checked first (VGA cable)

Screen displays fine for a second, then goes blank

Dor, BenQ has a 3yr warranty on their monitors. I would contact their tech support and receive an RMA to return it for repair. It will cost you shipping out there but they will ship it back. I has a BenQ FP731 myself and it blew a capacitor inside that allowed the screen to stay on. Fixed it and had it back in 5-7 days. Good luck.

a mylar capacitor 0.22mf 100v may be shorted besides the flyback transfomer.
