I have some how changed the language on my mp3 player to Chinese and do not know how to switch it back to English

    we have a sansa sandisk media player and accidently changed the setting to French. How do we change to Engish? We just opened it.

Change language
in your menu go to settings then to language then it should have english in a drop down list try to select that and hit ok then should be good -hope this helps mick

Menu Settings Language English

Thats a translation if your SanDisk uses symbols for chinese to change it back to english.

Cant change back to english from chinese
Try a master reset using the manual, It should reset it factory settings. You can then configure the archos.

Give this a try:

1. Hit settings icon at the bottom right of screen- box will be ticked
2. Hit the sixth box on the screen- tick box
3. There are 3 options boxes hit the first one - it is for language settings
4. Then hit the third box it says English

Change the languate to english or spanish
In order to change your language back to English or whichever language you prefer. Please go to Settings (which is the icon with 4 bars & 2 bars are moving up & down)....select Settings to go to submenu, then scroll down until you see FM xxx, then the line above FM xxx should be your language menu. Select it and it will bring you to the list of the language and you should be able to choose your preferred language again. Hope this helps

Language setting
Choose the "Settings" icon on the main screen. (Looks like an EQ Stereo control panel)

- Choose language (The 5th one down in the list,)

- English is the first one on the next page.

Language in zen
To reset the language displayed on a ZEN player to English, change the language back to English or run Cleanup from the player.
For detailed instructions on how to access the Recovery Mode of a MP3 player, please see Recovery Mode: What to Do and How to Access.
If the player is a flash based player, such as a ZEN Nano, ZEN Nano Plus or MuVo, the language can be reset by manually changing the language or updating the firmware. To manually change the language:
  1. Press the scroll wheel to access the main menu.
  2. Scroll to the Settings option (the icon looks like a gear).
  3. Scroll to the Language option (the icon looks like a pearson speaking).
