My overhead interior lights wont go off

Well, take it back to them as soon as possible. In the mean time check the light switch at the interior light which usually has three settings - "off" at all times - "on" when any door opens - "on" at all times. Try the different switch positions by getting in the car with all doors closed. One setting should switch the light on with the doors initially closed and will remain on even if the doors are then opened or closed. Second setting will be light off with doors are closed but light on when a any door is opened. Third will remain switched off even if any door is opened or closed. If the light can be switched off at one setting but remains on at the two other settings there is a malfunctioning micro switch at one doors. Look for the micro in each of the door frames (not door) and press each it a few times with your finger - if it is stuck it may come loose and work again. Try the switch's settings again. If it doesn't solve the problem either one of the door micros or the light switch may be defective and need to be replaced. Unfortunately this can only be determined by using a multimeter and should be done by a auto electrician or knowledgeable person.

Volume on my phillips flat screen LCD keeps going up on it own

Not knowing the model here is what is wrong and possible cure.

All TV sets that have push buttons for volume, channel, etc actually have a tiny push switch called a micro switch--momentary switch that when depressed does what a switch does--turns something on.

What happens more frequently than you think is the micro switch can fail and instead of releasing when the plastic button is released continues to act like it is being pressed.

I am say high percentage you have a bad vol up switch.

The way I deal with this (depending on the set) is to gain access to the keyboard with the buttons/switches and unsolder and remove the micro switch (it only has two tiny pins to unsolder) .

Put keyboard back minus that and remote will still do all functions--I have a collection of the micro switches for in home service--not likely you could order just one--may be able to buy the keyboard but if it works with the remote......

Let me know if this helps or you have questions

My john deere 214 won't start

The deck lift lever normally wont start lifting until you pull back at least half way.Ther are 2 sets of wires that go under the fender deck, one set goes to the seat switch and the other set goes to the neutral start switch next to the shift lever, just in front of the seat. The neutral start switch wires more than likley came loose when you pulled fender deck off.The micro switch is on the back side of plate that surrounds shift lever.

Pressure switch to micro switch distance

The distance is not stable. You have made everything corectly and you how they work.
Now you need to uadjust the distance when the machine is workinig on. The required presure should be 1.2 to 1.3 bar which is the ideal between the temeperature of the milk and temperature of coffee. So you should hear and see the switch going of when the machine reach the above mention pressure.

No heat from micro-wave

Possible problems with this are: bad tube, bad diode, bad relay on the controller or bad Triac (if no relays) and the capacitor (the large silver one.) If the set runs but doesn't cook... then the door switches aren't the problem nor is the fuse.

Refrigerator model NoGC20C7C3Ewith fridge setting just on and freezer setting low following defrosting the operation seams ok but deteriorates with ice forming on the rear freezer panel and the lower...

Defrost system problem. Could be in heaters, defrost thermostat, or defrost timing circuit. Freezing in vegetable section is due to air back flow related to frozen evaporator coil in freezer compartment.
Colder air settles and warmer air raises.

Ice maker problem is separate. Bar up engages micro switch that is supposed to shut it off. Bad micro-switch?

Lid Switch replacement

ok " unplug washer from wall , ( can not stress enough that there can be no electricity running to that machine)

depending on the washer most have screws on the back at top, you will have to take them out, ok so far , most lids have metal clips holding tops on , pry top up and it will pop loose.

got that far, now look at inside of the top where lid opens and you will see a small micro switch

two screws hold switch in place, electrical wires to switch are cliped on they will pull off

take micro switch to appliance parts store they will match it
take make and model of washer with you

screw in new micro switch and attach wires to switch , and snap
washer cover back on, attach screws to the back , and your all set.

see you can do it

My cam is green.

Hi, You have to reset the camera settings. In your Camera Preferences, switch between setting of Low light, AE, Outdoors, etc., Apply and choose what setting is to your preference, Apply again and OK. I found that setting the Camera's Options/Preferences while using Yahoo Messenger sets the camera to my desired setting (no longer greenish). However, it reverts back once I rebooted. Hope this be of help/idea. Post back how things are or should you need additional information. Good luck and kind regards.
