After checking all the fuses, be aware that if the batteries are depleted totally the battery charger is not strong enough to restore the charge on the batteries. You can use an automotive type battery charger...one that is NOT automatic and charge the batteries individually. This may take more than 48 hours. If the battery is any good after charging then put everything back together and top it off with the original battery charger.

There are 2 charging and battery related fuses on this model that should be checked and if burnt open replaced with the same color and fuse type. One fuse is located under a rubber boot near the charging port. Use needle nose pliers or your finger nails to remove and inspect. The second fuse is hidden under the battery box. Pull up and out to remove the battery box and inspect the fuse in the base underneath. If both of the fuses are OK open the battery box and check all the connections. You will need a long phillips #1 screwdriver to do this. Hope this helps

Its plug in but battery wont charge

If your battery will not charge, you need to run a test on some components on the laptop. The battery, the charger and the laptop itself. Once you detect the faulty conponent then you replace it with a new one.

To test the battery:
1.Power off the laptop,
2.Take out the battery,
3.Insert it in another laptop,
4.Check of it will charge,

If the battery holds a charge there, then it means the problem is not from the battery, but if it does not hold a charge, then it means the battery is defective and need to be replaced with a new one.

To test the charger:
1.Unplug the charger from the present laptop,
2.Connect it to another laptop to see if it will charge.

If it charges the laptop, then it means the charger is alright, and if it does not charge the laptop, then it means the charger is bad and need to be replaced.

To test the laptop:
1.Turn off the laptop,
2.Disconnect your present charger,
3.Remove your present battery pack,
4.Insert a well tested battery into the laptop,
5.Connect a well tested charger to the laptop.

If it powers on, then it and charges, then it means the laptop is working fine, but if it does not charge, then it means the connection port of the laptop is bad.Hope this information was helpful.

When i plug the charger in the first time it is working but when the charger is unplug the laptop is not working.

Hi Tim, As per my understanding you are experiencing issues with the laptop not working without a charger being plugged in.In this regards what I would suggest you do is see if the battery charges with the charger plugged in and in case the battery does get charged see if you are able to power on the laptop with just the battery connected and no charger plugged in.If you are able to get the laptop to turn on only with the charger connected and unable to power on with just the battery then it would be an issue with the battery not getting charge. So before you replace the battery please unplug all external devices from the laptop including the charger and the battery and without the charger or battery connected to the laptop please press and hold down the power button for 30 seconds after which please insert the battery into the laptop and see if you are able to turn on the laptop. This step is performed so that we could drain out unwanted static electric charges from the laptop. In case this step does not work please do consider replacing the battery since it would be an issue with the battery not getting charged. Best wishes for your effort.

I just bought a new battery charger cable called (Sealed Lead-Acid Charger) to replace an older (Lead Acid battery charger). The New Battery charger will charge for about 2 to 5 minutes and then stop...

ismail the charger you bought should do the job. By stop charging do you mean the light on the charger turns from yellow to green? Your scooter has small batteries 12/12 and don't require along period of charging. Now the scooter has a heat sensor for the batteries and will cut off charging when temp of the batteries gets too high. The older charger could have overcharged your batteries and made them weaker instead of stronger. I would suggest you replace the batteries (2 12/12AH) and charge them with the new charger. Remember to reinstall the heat sensors on each battery when replacing. If you have a digital voltmeter set it to 200 v dc and put the leads into the 2 outer plugs in the charger port on the battery pack. You should read 24-26 volts dc when the batteries are fully charged anything less would mean weak batteries. Hope this helps you

I have a jazzy power chair and when you turn it on all the lights come on for about 3 seconds then they go off and all you have is the red lights. we live in alaska so nobody around here to take it to

John Do the red lights blink or steady? this indication on the joystick usually means low batteries. Now this could be caused by bad batteries or a bad charger. On the jazzy if you have an on-board charger the light on the charger will come on green when the batteries are fully charged. If you can look under the rear of the chair you will see the charger and can tell if the light is green with the charger still plugged in after charging overnite. If the light is not lit then you probably have a bad charger. If you have a digital volt meter put it on dc volts 200 volt scale and plug the leads into the two outter charger port holes located under the front of the joystick. Your battery level should read 24-26 volts after charging all nite and with the charger plugged in up to 30 volts if there is no change in the voltage from charger plugged in and not plugged in then the charger is bad. You can then look to purchase an off-board charger that plugs into the joystick charger port to charge your batteries. If your battery readings are lower than 21 volts even after trying the new charger then you will have to replace the batteries. You might try to find someone in the local area that has an off-board charger you could borrow to see if you can get the batteries to charge. This will help you find out if the batteries need replacing. Hope this helps

Motorola v365 won't charge and won't stay with wall power

Hello,

The reason your phone wont charge might be because there is a problem with the battery, the charger or the charging port.

To test it if it is the battery,

Insert the battery into another phone and try to charge it for a while,
if it does not work, then it is the battery.

All you have to do is to change the battery.

To test it if it is the charger,

Plug the charger to a power supply,
Connect the charger to another phone, to see if it works.

If it does not work, then it is the charger that needs replacement.

To test if it is the charging port,

Insert a new battery, and plug it to a new charger.

If it does not charge, then it is the charging port.

Replace the charging port and it will be okay.

To replace the charging port;
  1. After removing your back cover and battery, remove the four torx 6 screws you see. (When reassembling, the gold screws go at the bottom and the silver screws go back at the top),
  2. With the four screws removed you can now remove the battery compartment,
  3. With the battery slot removed you have access to one of the ribbons which connects the screen to the main body of the phone. Unclip this (it fits like a plug and socket).
  4. You'll now have the phone in two parts,
  5. Take to the lower part and disconnect the charging port and replace it with a new one,
  6. Reverse the whole procedure for reassembly
Take care

Why doesn't my htc phone charge while plug in?

First, you need to check to see if the problem is with the phone - the battery - or the charger.

If you have a car charger, try to charge the phone with it. If it works, you'll need to replace your home charger.

If the car charger doesn't charge the phone - you'll either need to replace the phones battery or your home charger. (Sometimes the battery will go bad if you use a car charger not made specifically for the phone.)

If you replace your battery and it still doesn't charge you'll need to replace your home charger.

If after you've replaced the battery and the home charger and it still doesn't charge - your problem is with the phone and it will either need to be replaced or repaired.

My psp battery loses power "quickly" and charges very slow....

How old is your battery? You may want to think about buying a new one as it may be on it's way out. Even if it is fairly new you might have a lemon of a battery. It happens at times. IF your psp is new and your battery is doing this you should contact sony and see if they can replace your battery for free or a nominal charge.
