I have a Maytag Ensignia washer that will not fill the basin with water during the initial phase of the wash. The water just continuously runs and empties.
The drain hose has to be at least 30 inches above the floor or gravity will drain the machine. Also: If the water hose is jammed into the drain a siphoning affect will occur in some instances.
