Smart pro keeps shutting down

When asking a technical question regarding vehicular repair, I can only assume that if you are seeking knowledge, you are doing the repairs yourself. This raises a concern with me when the questions asked are vague, lack details as simple as year/make/model/engine size and type, lack correct terminology/spelling, improper references, etc.

IF YOU DO NOT HAVE BASIC PHYSICAL/ELECTRICAL/MECHANICAL KNOWLEDGE, YOUR CHANCES OF A SUCCESSFUL REPAIR AND PERSONAL SAFETY ARE AT RISK.

That is why there are mechanics. Sometimes a basic, low cost repair can turn into thousands of dollars if done incorrectly. For example, just a simple $2.00 fuse installed incorrectly can do irreversible damage to a $3000.00 ECM or other sensitive electronic component. Inexperience in properly supporting vehicles or securing heavy components can result in property damage, serious injury and possible death.

My advice is based on personal experiences. Many variables can determine your outcome. Advice/information from friends, co workers and research is used whenever I do a repair. I have education I paid for so I assume it to be correct. I use my knowledge as a base and may not have specific experience with your vehicle. I am currently employed as a diesel/refrigeration technician.
