How can i turn the volumn up & down using the keyboard

Its normally a keyboard combination or on windows Volume icon next to clock at the bottom of the screen. For keyboard use Press and hold FN button on the keyboard and then look for speaker icons. Some of them have 2 icons and some of them have 3 icons in blue colour on KB. 1 for high, 2nd for mute and 3rd for low. Try these combinations

Check in the lower left hand side of your keyboard. You should see a key wth the letters FN. You will need to press FN + F2 in order to turn the WiFi on and off from the keyboard.

It will be a combination keystroke--use the Fn key at the lower left side of your keyboard and one of the other keys (usually a special function key) that has a picture of a speaker on it.
The other thing you must check is the sound properties icon in the control panel and be sure your speakers have not been muted.

Keyboard Faulty, Remove the key and rubber bit then with a stanly knife / box cutter make a small cut and clean under so the carbon connections are clean, replace rubber and key then try it. If no luck then replacement keyboard.

Can't do much except replace the keyboard or plug in a full size keyboard either a PS2 or USB type.

Well you can check for the audio icon on the system try at the bottom right hand corner & then do a left click on it which would enable you to control the sound on your system. you can also look for the audio control on the key pad of your system.

if replacing the keyboard failed to resolve the problem then the keyboard controller is most likely failing and than means a new motherboard.

to activate builtin microphone do following step:-

1- double click on volume icon (right side down of ur desktop), Playback control window open.

2- In playback control window click on options>properties.

3- In properties windows u see "adjust volume for" area , here click on "recording".

4- while click on "recording" down u will see option for ur recording devices (Line In, Microphone,S/PDIF in etc ) select on microphone and click ok.

5- now u will see " Recording Control " window here select microphone and adjust volume for microphone

Ok now u will turn on ur Microphone Try to chat with anyone to ensure ur microphone is working.
