You might need to upgrade your graphics card drivers
http://download.cnet.com/nVidia-Graphics-Driver-Windows-XP-Media-Center-Edition/3000-2108_4-10044975.html

click start control panel display desktop you can select a different desktop from the drop down list

or a browse button where you can select different pictures this may vary depending on your operating system

also settings you can change the settings for more or less pixels or from the drop down list pick the appropriate level of color range or troubleshoot also select advanced then general dpi normal size, larger size or custom settings
always click APPLY after making any changes

on the top of the internet page you should see some tabs file edit view favourites tools and help click on the view tab on the drop down list you should see a zoom size %

click a different percentage also a text size you might try a different text size although this will not increase the size of the page only the text fonts inside it

if you do not see these tabs in the top toolbar

right click in the top toolbar you will see a number of toolbars and options select the menu tab this will add at it to the toolbar

there should be some adjustment tabs located on or on the underside of your monitor you will need to find the menu tab first you might see some arrows with pointers to extend or retract your screen and one to locate it centre

What version of Windows are you using? Changing the font sizes for one specific application would be difficult, though it is possible to do this for the entire operating system relatively easily. I know everything between Windows XP and Windows 8 allows you to change your DPI settings, which would increase the size of buttons and text system-wide. However, some versions of Windows let you specify your preferred text size in the Accessibility section of the Windows Control Panel.

The letters are to small and pictures too,i need to zoomout alittle bit..

This solution is for windows 7

To make the text on your screen larger or smaller

Open Screen Resolution by clicking the the Start button, clicking Control Panel, and then, under Appearance and Personalization, clicking Adjust screen resolution.

Choose one of the following:

Smaller - 100% (default). This keeps text and other items at normal size.

Medium - 125%. This sets text and other items to 125% of normal size.

Larger - 150%. This sets text and other items to 150% of normal size. This option appears only if your monitor supports a resolution of at least 1200 x 900 pixels.

Click Apply.

To see the change, close all of your programs and then log off of Windows. This change will take effect the next time you log on.

Text is too small

try to right click on your desktop and choose properties if your using windows xp, then try to adjust its screen resolution. maybe you switch your computer to a very high resolution that will cause you to have a small text display. but if your using windows 7 right click on your desktop, click on personalized another windows will appear and then choose set custom text size and choose the percentage of text that fits your needs.

Hello nancyedawley,

The text size can be enlarged by holding down the [Ctrl] key and pressing the [+] key. The text can be made smaller by pressing the [Ctrl] and [-] key combination.

If this solution is helpful please click a thumbs-up rating.

Have a great day,

How to change text size to be larger

This depends upon what program you are running.

If you mean the Internet, you can change the view settings on most browsers by zooming in (go to "View" in your toolbar).

If it's a Microsoft application like "Word" or "Excel", you can increase the font size or the magnification of the document - again, from the toolbar.

How do I increase text size

Are you referring to the default text size Vista uses? Then, contrary to windows XP, in Vista you have to separately increase the text size for different instances.
1. Right click on the desktop and select personalize

2. Select Windows Color

3. Select the required item of which text size is to be increased.(for example: Icon, Message Box etc.)

4. Then you can change the text size, font, color, and font weight

My text is really small...how can I change the size of only the text?

I'm assuming you are using Windows. My apologies if not.

Hold down the "Ctrl" key and move the roller on your mouse. It should change the font size on your screen.

Text to small when printed out

may be your screen resolution is too low (things on the screen appear as big). Try increasing your screen resolution.

To do this. Right-click an empty area of desktop > click properties > Click setting > move the slider of the resolution tab towards the higher number.

Sometimes the application that is used to create or print the document may be set to a view level of low zoom size. increasing the resolution view size of the application should solve your problem.

It is recommended to use true type fonts they print in actual size.
